BOA was meant to be a vtuber project where i created characters whose stories were drawn from pieces of my own life, as a way to put myself out there. and i want these pieces to outlast me

fedi users really need to tell people more the reason they're not seeing much of anything from other servers sometimes is because no one from their home server is following anyone from aforementioned other servers or vice versa

you'd have to visit other instances individually, find someone interesting, and then copy-paste their @handle@instance onto your instance's search bar to follow that account. there's also the entirely separate fedi-directory website — anyway, it's not hard to find all of this very inconvenient
